What is the difference between oil change and service maintainance?

is there any difference between the two?

i know that i have to get oil change every 5k miles...

so is service maintainance every 15k miles ? and does our car extended warranty covers that?|||service maint. includes axle fluid changes and things like that. The list is mapped out in your owners manual. And No Scheduled Maintenance is not covered by warrantee|||they are kinda the same but service maintenance would also include tire balance and rotation, all fluid change, filter change, spark plug and wire change, radiator attention, and esc. hope this helps|||Unless you own a BMW, the maintenance is usually not included with the vehicle.

Oil change is just ONE thing in a "Service Maintenance" which is different depending on mileage.|||oil change is just that replacing oil filter and oil, service maintanance is keeping your car tuned up at manufacturers spec keep a good eye open on all your fluids and you should be alright as long as your car is not giving you any problems you can probably get away with the servicing twice a year depending on the year of your car
