Oil change?

they always said 5 months or 5000 miles every oil change, what if you only drive 2000 miles in 5 months, should I still change it.Oil change?
Most dealerships now recommend changing your oil every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever comes first. If you've went 3 months without an oil change but you've only went 1000 miles you still need to change you oil because the oil will still break down over time.
yes because the oil still breaks downOil change?

you should change your oil every 2000 - 3000 miles.

this will improve the cars accelaration and engine flow, you will notice this if your car needs an oil change badly and you get it done.
At the mileage you put on I would change the oil twice a yearOil change?
Yes. The oil is sitting at the bottom of the oil pan. You should have the car started at least 2-3 times a month to keep everything oiled up. Things will start to get all gummed up and the seals will start to leak if you don`t.
no. do it whenever it reachs 3000miles. unless you have too much money in your bank account.
The oil change question is and always will be a subject of controversy. Who should you listen to? The best advice I can give is that you should be safe rather than sorry. Use common sense and get the oil changed no matter whether you go by mileage or time. I think 5 months is the time limit because coupled with approx. 2,000 miles of driving the oil can break down to the point where your car's engine will not get maximum protection and it's just not worth the risk that your engine might suffer some even minor wear and tear from oil that is not up to par.
Depending on you Engine you might be ok Changing Oil %26amp; FIlter twice a Year but That means You Need to Check the Oil Every time you Drive it to make sure it's still Full and Clean.
